都市工学専攻 Department of Urban Engineering
都市工学・社会基盤学・建築学の3専攻を横断する社会人向け教育プログラム「まちづくり大学院」は、都市づくり・まちづくりに関する統合的・実践的・国際的な知識と技術を修得した高度専門職業人を養成しています。国の関係省庁・機関、企業、自治体、まちづくりNPO等学外の関連団体と協力し、実務面の教育および研究を充実させ、実社会(産・官・市民)と大学との交流を促進しています。
また、本プログラムでは20代〜60代までさまざまな経験を持った学生が切磋琢磨し合いながら学んでいます。2007年にスタートして以来、これまでに150人以上が本プログラムを修了し、国内外の都市づくりやまちづくりの現場で活躍しています。

“Master’s Program in Sustainable Urban Regeneration” provides multidisciplinary education program for recurrent students in collaboration with Schools of Urban Engineering, Engineering and Architecture. This program trains highly skilled professionals who acquire integrated, practical and international knowledge and skills in the field of urban planning and community development.
We promote collaborations between academia and society (industry, government, citizens, etc.) through practical education and research programs. Students of various backgrounds ages ranging from 20 to 60 years old are studying and working hard together under this program. More than 150 students have graduated and play active parts in the field of urban planning and community development, both in Japan and overseas.
